Directions To The Water Stations Of The
"US Geological Survey (USGS)- 10 Miles" Course
Getting by car to your station and to the start/finish (S/F) location

10 Miles Course - 2 Stations
Use the following time allotments as a guideline to get to the station's location, setup the station and, as applicable, continue to the S/F station
assuming you start at Reston Pkwy at the Dulles Access Rd:
- S/F station - 15 minutes
- 2nd station - 25 minutes
Use the following time allotments after the run's start as a guideline to clear the station:
- S/F station - 110 minutes
- 2nd station - 60 minutes
The S/F is located at USGS's parking lot D. It will be used 2 times (at ~0/10 miles).
From Reston Pkwy and the Dulles Access Rd:
- Take Reston Pkwy south and turn right (west) on South Lakes Dr.
- Proceed to USGS parking lot D and turn right (north) to the parking lot.
- Set the station on the curb by SE corner of the parking lot.
The 2nd station is located at the Hunter Woods Pool Parking Lot, east of Reston Pkwy across from Oslo Dr. It will be used once (at ~5 miles).
From Reston Pkwy and the Dulles Access Rd:
- Proceed south on Reston Pkwy
- Turn left (east) to the Hunter Pool Parking lot after crossing South Lakes Dr. (you may have to proceed to Colts Neck Rd and make a u-turn.)
- Set the station by the pool.
To return to the S/F Station:
- Proceed north on Reston Pkwy
- Turn left (west) to South Lakes Dr.
- Proceed to the USGS parking lot D and turn right (north) to the parking lot.
