1. Start at entrance to Sunrise Valley Elementary School parking lot
2. Left on Cross School Road for about 100 yards
3. Right on Midsummer Drive for about 1/3 mile
4. Left on Cross School Road for about 1/3 mile
5. Right on path into woods at intersection of Cross School Road and Midsummer Drive for about 200 yards. Go right at the fork in the path.
6. Right on W&OD Trail. Go right on Buckthorn Lane. Walk around the cul de sac and back towards W&OD.
7. Turn right onto W&OD and walk 1 1/2 miles out, crossing Hunter Mill Road after about 1 mile and Difficult Run on a bridge after about another 1/2 mile. Reverse direction on bridge or at the bench on the left about 100 yards after Mile Marker 14.
8. Turn right onto Buckthorn Lane.
9. Turn right on Post Oak Trail.
10. Pass Pepperidge Lane.  Head left on Oldfield Drive.
11. Turn left on Post Oak Trail.
12. Opposite house #1862, turn right onto asphalt path, going back to W&OD.
13. Go right on the W&OD paved path.
14. Pass the Cross School Road path on the left.
15. Go left on little path back up to school parking lot.  This is just before Sunrise Valley Drive.
