1. From the picnic area, head north (left if facing the River) along path.  (Potomac Heritage Trail)  Continue past turn to Nature Center and across wooden bridge.
2. At next trail split, veer left away from River on wider path  (Paw Paw Passage Trail)
3. Left at pond, continuing uphill
4. Left at next turn (marked by �No Horses or Bicycles� sign).  Continue on boardwalk, up hill to asphalt path
5. Left on asphalt path.  (Duff �n Stuff Trail).  Follow trail (in large circle) to Nature Center.
6. Left into parking lot
7. Left along road
8. Right into Meadow area (Meadow Trail)
9. Follow trail, curving in a broad left at end of meadow
10. Left on trail about half way back in meadow, cross to incoming path
11. Right on incoming path to exit the meadow
12. Straight onto steep downhill trail  (or go a few feet left to right on steep paved road) (Center Trail)
13. Right at sign for Upland Trail
14. Continue on Upland Trail, cross entrance road
15. Right on fire road
16. Continue straight on fire road (don�t take left on continuation of Upland Trail)
17. Exit fire road by running around cable and going onto paved road a few feet to the right.  (This is the road leading into the Park)
18. At approximately the Guard Booth, cut a few feet to the left to pick up new trail.  Go left.
19. Right on continuation of Upland Trail
20. Left, continuing on Upland
21. Right, continuing on Upland, follow to River
22. Left on trial along River (Potomac Heritage Trail)
23. Return to Picnic Area

    And for the Overachievers...
    
       After 22, at end of first parking lot:

24. Left on Fire Road, up STEEP hill
25. Right at Uplands trail (this is the same point as #15)
26. Right on Access Road
27. Return to Start.

Here are Driving Directions to Riverbend Park from the Reston Town Center:

1. Take Baron Cameron (Rt 606) and turn right on Route 7.
2. Go .6 mile and turn left on Colvin Run
3. Go .4 mile and turn left on Walker Road
4. Go 2.5 miles and turn right on Arnon Chapel Road (go past Old Georgetown Pike (rt. 193) and turn at first stop sign)
5. Go 1.4 miles and turn left on Riverbend Road.
6. Go .1 mile and turn right on Jeffery Road
7. Go .8 mile and turn right into park on Potomac Hills Street.
8. Go .5 mile and park either to the left (Visitors Center) or right.
