Directions
- From the parking lot, head toward rail fence and turn left.
- At stop sign turn left, leaving paved road and going onto gravel path. Pass sign with big "1,2."
- Pass the covered picnic tables on the right and turn right to go up the steep hill to a very large playing field.
- Walk toward the far right end of the field. Take a dirt trail down into the woods.
- Cross over a small stream near white post with horseshoe marking.
- Trail briefly crosses an opening. Then continues through woods.
- Trail emerges onto another large field. Proceed across end of this field, following white horseshoe-marked posts. Follow dirt trail into woods.
- At Y intersection bear left of white horseshoe post (not to the right marked by a red post).
- Cross rail-less wooden bridge at bottom of hill.
- At an island of trees, go to the right around the trees and take the first right onto a dirt trail. Do not follow the horse trail across the stream.
- Pass a couple of trails on the left and a nature trail sign on the right.
- Go right onto gravel road at red nature trail post.
- After post marking campsite C52, bear right on gravel road.
- Pass camp store. Stay to the left of exit sign to stay on gravel trail.
- At intersection go around barrier and straight onto asphalt path.
- Proceed across the dam.
- Turn right down the hill across the open field to parking lot.

This course is essentially the same as the cross-country course used (with some year-to-year variations) for the Thanksgiving Day run
